2. Services

• Courses — 3-month programmes of 12 one-to-one sessions of 2 hours (24 hours in total), in person at Studio 43, one student with one instructor.
• One-to-one sessions — 2, 4 or a 10-hour package.
• Mentorship — monthly plans for ongoing feedback.
• Studio consultations — assessment and a plan for your studio.
• Masterclasses and events — in small groups, announced separately.

Descriptions, curricula and prices are published on the website. Prices are in euro. The final price for each student is confirmed at enrollment.

3. Free consultation

The free consultation is a short conversation (about 20 minutes) to choose the right course or format. It is not a lesson and carries no obligation to enroll.

4. Enrollment and confirmation

A place is confirmed once the course, start period and instructor availability are agreed, the student has provided the necessary details, and full payment or the first instalment has been received. Due to the one-to-one model, places in each intake are limited.

5. Payment

• Upfront — the full amount is paid before the course starts; a reduced price applies where announced (about 5% off).
• Three monthly instalments — the first before the course starts, the rest according to the agreed monthly schedule.

Instalments are a payment plan for one complete three-month course; they do not turn the course into three separate monthly services. If an instalment is overdue, further sessions may be paused until payment.

6. Scheduling, rescheduling and absence

Each session reserves dedicated instructor and studio time. Therefore:

• a session cancelled at least 24 hours in advance is rescheduled subject to instructor and studio availability;
• a later cancellation or no-show counts as a held session, except for valid reasons (e.g. documented illness);
• if Soundskillz cancels a session, it is rescheduled at a mutually convenient time;
• if a instructor cannot continue the course, the academy provides another qualified instructor or a proportional refund for sessions not held.

7. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Where the contract is concluded at a distance — by email, phone, Viber or via the website — the consumer may withdraw within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason and without penalty, under the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act.

If the consumer expressly requests the course to start before the 14-day period ends and then withdraws, they pay an amount proportional to the sessions already delivered. Once the service has been fully delivered with the consumer’s express consent, the right of withdrawal is lost.

Withdrawal is made by a clear statement to [email protected] or with the form below. Amounts due are refunded within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, using the same payment method.

8. Final project and certificate

The Certificate of Completion is issued only after the student completes the full three-month programme, takes part in the practical sessions and successfully submits the final project. It certifies course completion and is not an accredited diploma or a regulated professional qualification.

9. Intellectual property

Students keep all rights to their original music and projects unless a separate written agreement is signed. Soundskillz teaching materials, templates, videos and resources are protected and may not be distributed or used commercially without permission.

10. Photos, video and testimonials

Photos, video, testimonials and student projects are published only with separate written consent, which can be withdrawn for future publications.

11. Studio conduct and equipment

Students use Studio 43 equipment responsibly and follow the instructor’s instructions when working with hardware, microphones, instruments, cabling and routing. Students are liable for damage they culpably cause to equipment, in accordance with applicable law.

12. Liability

Soundskillz teaches with professional care but does not guarantee specific creative, commercial or career results. Neither party is liable for non-performance caused by force majeure.

13. Complaints and disputes

Complaints can be sent to [email protected]; we reply within 14 days. Consumers may also contact the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg) and the sectoral conciliation committees for out-of-court dispute resolution. Disputes not resolved by agreement are settled by the competent Bulgarian court under Bulgarian law.

14. Personal data

15. Changes

Soundskillz may update these terms. For an enrolled student, the terms accepted at enrollment apply unless the parties agree otherwise or the law requires a change.
